Video and systems designer

The ‘Innovation Project’ is the final project that students on the VDLP course at Guildhall School undertake. This was my opportunity to focus on an aspect of video design that I feel passionate about. I have always wanted to combine my music and video skills to create an audio-reactive video performance, especially for electronic music.

I collaborated with electronic music producer, Jack Miller. Jack was performing a live electronic music set, and I linked his components (such as Bass Synthesizer, Mixer and Drum Machine) to a Touchdesigner file via MIDI and an audio interface, to trigger audio-reactive animations.

We performed in Milton Court Concert Hall on 6th July 2022.
